Gravity Game Arise 于本日（7 月 30 日）宣布，《NBA RISE》的服务将于日本时间 2026 年 8 月 31 日 17 时结束。官方表示，本作是一款 NBA 官方授权的篮球模拟游戏。最初于 2021 年 11 月 24 日以《NBA RISE TO STARDOM》之名开始服务，随后于 2025 年 2 月 20 日全新改版为《NBA RISE》重新出发。
此外，本次终止服务距离前身《NBA RISE TO STARDOM》推出以来经过了约 4 年 9 个月，距离以《NBA RISE》重新出发后则经过了约 1 年半。
